Brinkley finally made it...

Brinkley Lane was born on October 10th at 10:26 pm.  She weighed 7 lbs. and 5 oz. and was 20 and a half inches long.  (The hospital measured her at 21 and a quarter inches, but at her one week appointment I watched the nurse measure her and she was 20 and a half inches.)  Everything went really well, and my mom and dad even made it in time for the birth!  I ended up being induced because I was so far dilated (at a five and about 80% effaced) and because I was group B strep positive this time.  So on Friday I went to the hospital at noon and had to get at least two rounds of antibiotics (spaced four hours apart) in me before they could do anything else.  The plan was to get the antibiotics and then the doctor would just come and break my water and see if that would get me going.  But when they checked me, and baby's head was still floating up so they didn't dare break my water. So they startedme on pitocin at 6 pm to push the baby's head down.  They steadily increased my dose until about 9:15 when I ask for an epidural.  At that point my doctor was there and told them to stop the pit because I didn't need it anymore and I was waiting for the epidural.  At 10:10-ish I started pushing and about 15 min. later Brinkley was here.  It went so well, and Zack even got to help deliver the baby and he didn't drop her:)  We are so glad she is finally here!  Ady has been so good with her too.  She gets so excited to see the baby every morning, and even more excited when she is awake.  She likes to hug her and give her kisses; it's so sweet.  And she hasn't even hit her on purpose yet!Yay!!!  Anyway she is super cute and sweet and looks a little like Ady's baby pics so far, just without the big cheeks.

Still no baby...

Well unfortunately I still haven't had the baby.  I'm not too surprised, because I know I don't have that good of luck.  The good news is I have been progressing every week, so my body is still working on it.  I think the baby is just holding on in there for dear life.  She doesn't want to come out at all.  I still have a week and half left so I guess it's ok she's still in there.  But now I have to wait 'til next weekend to have the baby because Zack has three tests and two quizzes at the beginning of the week.  Plus Mom has time off work next week so it will be better for her too.

Zack and I also decided it's going to be too hard and too expensive for me and the babies to come out for Jason and Paloma's wedding.  I'm really sad that I'm going to miss it, and miss seeing everybody, but we'll be able to see everybody at Christmas time.  Anyway we love you all and miss you a lot and can't wait to see you.

P.S.  Zack is doing really well in school and we are both really happy about that.  Love you all and hope everything is going well!

Life!

Here are some pictures of the house. Sorry they are not really in order. The first ones you see are the most recent.
Brant is currently in Oregon. Tomorrow he is flying to Chicago for a trade show. He will be there until Tuesday. I won't get to see him until Next Friday. This is the first time in a few years I have been away from him this long. 2 weeks! Time goes by extremely fast because I am so busy. He only has 4 weeks left! Yeah!
We want to hear from ya'll. So let us know what is going on in your lives too!

Our Life Around September 1st

Kayliann riding her bike without training wheels for the first time! (Around Sept 1, 2008 )

We were so excited for Kayliann and giving her tons of attention. Payton was jealous so he took off his training wheels also. He is doing an awesome job now! It only took him 3 days to be able to start and stop himself. I am so proud of both of them! They are getting really daring. They go off two small jumps that we made.
