Growing Up So Fast!

My Girl!
Kayliann is growing up so fast! She has a few lose teeth! A lot of her friends have already lost their 2 front teeth.

We are finally recovering from the cold flu. Kayliann & Payton stayed home from school last week. She was home Tuesday & Wednesday and Payton was home Thursday and Friday. I felt bad for Brant. He is such a good dad to take care of them so well. This picture is taken while Payton had a fever. When we gave him Ibuprofen his fever would go down and he would play and have fun. Then about three hours later he crashed. He had been playing "ice skating" on the wood floors. He has my snowboarding gloves on his feet!

We are having a good time in our house. We finally got blinds! It's nice to be private again. On Friday we had old friends from high school over to play games. They have kids about our kids age. They had a blast! And on Saturday we had friends from our old ward over to play games and eat dinner with us. We are simpletons! Hot Dogs and hamburgers don't really count for dinner. The highlight of the night was Brants homemade potato salad. Yum! He is so excited to be able to entertain people in our house. Hopefully we get to see y'all soon!

Yeah.... We Have Finally Moved!

I took my camera to document the move but got busy and only got about three pictures. This is the moving truck on Friday, January 16th.

Tight Squeeze! My desk had to be disassembled to fit through the door!

Bringing in the Washer and Dryer!

First night!
Gammie's bought them a new bedspread almost a month before we moved in. They were very excited to finally see it on their beds.

Jump Man!

These pictures were taken today! This is the Master bedroom.

Master Bath!
We have tons of Decorating to do... this will have to for now!

Yes... we still don't have blinds. Thank goodness our neighbors aren't to interested in looking at our naked bodies . . . they are gay! Oooh maybe they are??? :)
The blinds should be delivered this week.

Brant Making Sunday Dinner! You can see the detail in the counter tops.

Entry!

We have NO furniture! So the Great Room is not that great... yet. The photos on the fireplace have not found a permanent home yet. It's not on the mantel!

Outside!

I have only been in the basement a few times since we moved in but the kids drag some of their toys down to play. We send them down there and don't usually hear from them for long periods of time.

We are excited to finally be moved in. I find myself taking things for granted already. I need to be more thankful for what we have instead of wanting more, more, more. Our list of furniture is super long and I want to have it all now. So I need to find happiness in what we have. I love being with my family and we have had friends over a few times already. So I am thankful for the relationships we have with our friends and family.
Thank You to all of you who helped us get moved in! Mark helped all day Friday. Getting the truck loaded, unloaded, and moving all the furniture in. Melody watched our kids and baked a cake with them. Terry and Agustin helped us unload the truck. Mom brought us our first homemade meal in two weeks on Sunday and she watched our kids ALL day on Sunday too (While we unpacked). And Brant's cousin, Brandon, showed up on Friday night and helped us finish loading up the last things at the condo. He stayed and moved all the boxes from the garage into the house, set up the t.v.'s and computer, and helped us organize the kitchen. He stayed until Sunday around noon. His help was greatly appreciated and immeasurable. I'm sure we would still be bringing boxes in if we didn't have his help. Thanks to all!

Air Force

Hey family, I see you've all been too busy to blog... I guess that's okay, but I want updates on all of you very soon. I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on with Zack and the Air Force. We finally heard back from the recruiter, and Zack was picked up as an alternate. He's number 23 on the alternate list. What this means is that all the scholarships were already given away and so now if an incoming dental student doesn't get accepted to school, then that scholarship goes to an alternate. We're still hopeful that he'll get in; the recruiter said they got to alternates in the 50's last year, so we'll keep our fingers crossed and keep praying. We love you guys and miss you all a lot.
Love the Larsons
