Hi family! I decided I should get on here and give you all an update on our family. We've had a pretty crazy month. To start of with, Brinkley got a really mild case of the swine flu. She had a low fever for three days, but she tested positive for it, who knew. Then Zack's parents and sister came out to visit for Brinkley's birthday on the 10th. It's hard to believe that she is already one year old! She is the cutest little one year old. I emphasize little, because she is so tiny. For weight she is less than the 3rd percentile, and for height she is around the 50th. She's just a skinny little baby. She's been crawling for just over two months, and is really starting to take her first steps by herself. She's been getting better and better at walking. She's really good and holding on to Ady's little car and walking herself all around the house. She is a fireball. Her and Ady have started to have some pretty funny little fights, she can be quite the ornery little fetcher. I'm all done nursing her; hooray!, but she won't drink milk, only drinkable yogurts. And she has to have the cutest little butt on the planet!
Just before Brinkley's birthday, Zack got bit by a tick in his belly button (we are true Oklahomans now, Zack got a tick in the backyard!). He didn't know what was biting him, so he reached down and yanked it out. Then he had to get tweezers to pull the rest out. It was really disgusting. Then like three days after that he started getting fever and chills. So he went to the doctor, who didn't test him for anything, and claimed he was getting Lyme disease. He prescribed him three antibiotics and sent him home. We are now fairly certain he didn't have a tick borne illness, but rather he had his bout with swine flu, because he gave it to Savanna while she was here. Anyway, Zack is plugging away at school and really not enjoying it. He has boards coming up around Thanksgiving, so he'll need lots of prayers.
Ady is getting so big and she is way to smart for our good. She talks like a four year old, but definitely acts like a two year old. She loves nursery and playing with friends. She loves nursing and changing her dolly's diaper. She really wanted to be spiderman for Halloween, but she's a witch instead. She likes to insult me and then hurry and fix it by saying, "you're cute mom". She is really good at pushing my buttons and driving me crazy, and she knows it. But she is a really good and sweet big sister; most of the time. She has decided to take up dancing with her daddy. Every night she finds some random clothing or blanket and tries to wear it like a dress. Then she walks up to Zack and holds out her had and asks him to dance with her. It's so cute!
I was lucky enough to have a colonoscopy this month. I know, don't be jealous, who doesn't want to have some stranger looking up their bum. Anyway, I was knocked right out for the whole thing, but I had to drink three liters of ocean water the night before (one of the worst nights ever). The doctor was thinking I have ulcerative colitis, so he wanted to take a look up there. I am still waiting to hear all the results. He said they definitely found some inflammation, but I'm not sure if it's UC or crohn's disease or enteritis. I'll keep you updated.
Anyway I really miss everyone and can't wait to be back in Utah for Christmas time. We'll be in Cedar for like a week after Christmas, so hopefully we will get to see everybody. We love you all.

It's a Boy!
We found out that we're going to have a little boy. We've decided that we're probably going to call him Kevin. The doctor didn't change her mind about the due date at all, he's still on track to be born on Keri's birthday. Everything else is looking good too. Here are a few more blurry ultrasound photos:

Our New House
Sunday, April 5, 2009
We went to the doctor's office on the 30th of March. Paloma isn't as far along as we thought. She only had eight weeks at the time. Her due date is November 17th, Keri's birthday. She did an ultrasound and we saw the baby's little heartbeat. Here's a picture of the picture ;)

Paloma's been having quite a bit of nausea, but she wanted to get out of the house a little bit so we went up to Oak Grove today after conference. It's starting to get warm even up there. It was fun.

Good News!
Good news for some and bad news for others. Last Saturday we participated in a Wedding Showcase in Logan. (Didn't get to see much of my family this weekend.) At the end of the day as we were loading our merchandise, one of our competitors flagged me down to talk to me. She begged me to be honest with her and tell me if we were doing well or not. Of course, I shake my head and say "Yes". Apparently she is NOT! She went into major detail of her numbers being down. She cried on my shoulder (I cried too). I feel so bad for her. I know exactly where she is coming from. Our business has not always been successful.
Today I pulled all of the numbers from the last 4 years. We show growth every year! I went to her store and talked with her at length about what I found. Last year we sold 57% of the Brides that walked into our store. I feel really good about that number. She tried to interrogate me about every facet of the business. I gave her a few hints... but no way am I going to give her all my info. After all she is still my competitor:)
It's not just one thing that makes us successful. It's a combination of many things! My heart is full of gratitude and I appreciate everything y'all have done for our family and our business. I pray every night that this will never end. Thank You!

First Lost Tooth!
On Thursday Night Kayliann's tooth was incredibly lose. If you look really close, the permanent tooth is coming in behind the loose tooth. YUCK! On Friday Morning she woke up and told me she wanted to eat an apple to help the tooth come out. I had to leave for work early (9am). She took her first bite when I left and when I got to work she called me to tell me... "When I was eating my apple I thought I had a seed in my mouth then I took it out and it was my tooth ... not a seed!" Ha!
On Friday night the kids spent the night at Gammies house. Gammies had to let the tooth fairy in. Hey, I wanted to be the first one to let the tooth fairy in. Oh well, I think it was fun for her. She spoils the kids. They were up until 12:30 am. It made the rest of the weekend pretty hard. They had fun anyway. So did Brant and I! We had a surprise Birthday party at Maddox for one of our friends. It was our first time to eat there. We had fun socializing. Afterward we went to the movie Taken. I would highly recommend everybody go see it. Good stuff. :)
Brant left today (Sunday) for his road trip. He is headed up to Washington. The first and the last week are always the hardest. He should be finished the first week in May. I hope it goes fast!

I just wanted to let you all know how much I love and care about all of you. It makes me so happy to read and see pictures of all of you and know how good you all are.
Things for us are really crazy right now. As you all know I am in the middle of my student teaching experience and at the same school with Mom. I eat lunch with her almost everyday and I love it. On top of this I am still working part time at the repair shop on any day that I can squeeze it in. Raker has to be in daycare for long hours and it is hard on all of us. However I now drive him to and from Parowan so that Tyson's sister Jamie can watch him. It has been great. He is well taken care of and loved, and we are so greatful for her and all she does.
Tyson is hard at work and things for him are really slowing down. We hope that more work comes rolling through the doors soon. Construction is scary right now as you all probably well know. He is doing great though.
We recently left Raker with Jamie, Mom and Dad for 5 whole days while we went to Las Vegas to NASCAR. We sure had fun although we missed our little Rakey Roo. We are a happy family and greatfull for all that we have, especially each other. We hope that you are all as happy as us. We miss you all and hope to see you soon.
